Where is this?
This old sign was seen on my daily prayer walk. The first person who can identify exactly where it is on this blog wins a Starbucks gift certificate!
Joe Hewes is correct. Manalapan was originally a group of homes around 7 mill sites. This is the only one of the mills still in existence. From the sign, you can see that it is 250 years old. The mill is an amazing building to look at, with the wheel still there.
Monmouth Battlefield, Craig House?
ReplyDeleteSorry, it was a good guess, but wrong.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, that is poison ivy all around it on the left.
Sweetman's Lane, just south of Rt. 33. Across from Ace Hardware/Millhurst Mills.
