Did you ever wonder how Spielberg and company created E.T.? It turns out that they modeled him after the giant Galapagos tortoise, which we should see personally in a month or so. What a great piece of trivia! What do you think of the resemblance?

The more I look at the resemblence there is no doubt that Hollywood has their imprint all over this. This is an extreme Galapagos makeover. The high sheen moisture treatment, neck firming gel, nose job, eye lift and ta da a new star is born. I wonder if they can do anything for me!
